  1. #1
I'm trying to put a 678 MB avi movie into a VCD which hold 700 MB. How can i burn and fit it into the CD? The size changes to more than 700MB when i try to burn it.

VCD format is larger than avi, it won't fit on one cd. Use TEMPGenc lik 007 said, you'll have to split it to put it on cds.

Depends you can use avichop or virtualdub to split in avi format, or tmpgenc to split in mpg format. Take a look and choose whatever it is you prefer, editing guides.

You can use the source range setting in TMPGEnc.
Just Encode the first half then the second half using the source range setting.
