    no not true i have had some wierd times on downloads. i got some that dont work with any thing but acdsee when i right click. that uses windows media player but dosent scan the file first thats why i think it works.( i think it was porn that did this ) also i have had video play divx crappy and divx pro play it fine. ( it was hackers that did that)

    Also if it still a dat some time they dont play till there done whitch sucks.

    This is becuse its corrupt. eiath they meant to do that or just bad connection.

    i think there is a tool called asftools....maybe that can help. I remember it fixed asf files that wouldnt let the seek bar work, so maybe it&#39;ll help on wmv files.

    Oh, that&#39;s why just use Window Media Player those are it&#39;s type of files so when u play it in there it should work.
