My mistake.
This was meant to be directed at Benchez.
He's the one was saying harsh comments about the fillum.
Sorry JP.
:eyeroll:
I would like to hear the discussion
FFS I've still got him on ignore with this account.
Now go away.
Yes Del Toro won an Oscar but considering his role was primarily in Spanish how would the average dolt in Tinseltown know if he was any good or not?
Surprised to simplify matters they didn't just give the award to the film's subtitler.
Furthermore Benchez' may be a bit caustic but I've never had reason to question his taste in movies.
You on the other hand said that The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a good film so all of your past and future comments shall by me be taken with a bucket of salt(seeing that a grain is insufficient)
In fairness Benicio is alleged gave Scarlett Johansson the hard high one in an elevator so the man deserves some respect.
Make it up.That way you can forego the boring parts and imagine bits about lesbians instead.
If you're just here to be a snob little cunt please see yourself out, snee the pregnant man.
As to the League of Xtraordinary Gents, I said the movie was entertaining, and even if it wasn't grandiose, you can't deny the entretainemente factor in it Idol. You might, but I don't think others would.
Sean Connery I don't feel very grandly about, so if I say he was good in the League, that's because I don't gauge him very accurately seeing as I don't really consider him anything truly fantastic.
I'll watch that The Hunt For Red October fillum and see if it says contrariwise, but I doubt it. As James Bond he was just himself, really. Always the same. Generic, like.
And Bench, stand up and defend yourself against what I said about Traffic. Back up your insults (Traffic-wise).
Del Toro spoke in Spanish, but so do 50% of Americans. If you couldn't follow with the subs then that's not my problem.
Saying you can't gauge if he was a good actor because you didn't follow his dialect is rubbish: you can see him, see what he's up to, his expressions. With those alone his oscar was merited.
