    i just can't do without ccleaner, and with ccleaner i also use Advanced SystemCare 4 By IObit ( recommended for safe disk defragmentation)

    Many of such warez actually leave more crap then actually removing it, CCleaner is the obvious choice.

    Your uninstaller and Tune up utilities 2011....I don't use ccleaner cause it removes system & important file sometimes...For file cleaning use YU and every thing except the file cleaning I use tune up.....

    Never had that problem. At most, old versions deleted the whole prefetch folder in XP and above, which due to the way the prefetcher works is largely counterproductive. An update changed that to delete only old .pf files and unticked that by default.

    Bottom line: be careful with what you're removing... there have been many cases of tools clearing space by removing lots of "useless" files and then rendering your computer unbootable.
