Peas, every time
I know peas are essentially beans with a pod, but the pod is the best part, plus, you can shoot beans through the other side by blowing on one end

Coming from the UK, a country that is respected throughout the world for its' fine cuisine, I know a thing or two about food and I think this is a difficult one.
On the one hand mushy peas are the perfect accompaniment to fish and chips and on the other baked beans are an essential part of a sunday morning fry-up.
It's too close to call in my opinion.
