with a mod chip on xbox though you cannot play xbox live and if you do play xbox live and you turn the switch off while playing a real game and not a burned one, the new xbox live v. 2 will deteched your chip and cancel your subscription.

I wonder how it does that but anywayz I think you can take out you ethernet cable and when you want to play online detach the mod chip

There are modchips that do work with Xbox Live, because that can boot with the norml bios too.

When u log onto xbox live it scans ur system to see if everythings all ride. It also checks ur system id number (which every xbox has a unique one) to see if your xbox was reported stolen. If it was and u already gave em ur adress from the credit card soon.. expect company but if not have fun! BTW plz dun bag on my got from xbox official magazine
