you seriously think fred's ego problem will let them reach 6 albums, lol

fred's ego was never limpbizkit's problem. wes and fred didn't get along musically. wes wanted a different sound while fred wanted to keep the limpbizkit sound. therefore wes left the band without warning or time for them to replace them with the excuse that "if i kept it up any longer than i would be faking it". He left limpbizkit because it was not the music he wanted to play.

he now leads eat the day which doesn't have a vocalist and hasn't sold or released a single album. but wes does have a part in the "underworld" soundtrack from what i hear.

not that much younger than the beatles.........and btw, for you young people, their was music before mtv.......

i suppose if you give them that excuse and if that factor actually determining the difference in sales. but i dont think it does. i've checked the dates for the past ten years and they have more albums than limpbizkit. limp sells twice as much as they did in the past ten years. even counting the extra albums.

how many singles and videos did they release? hmmmm? think lp could sell as many as iron maiden with out the radio and mtv push?

how many singles and videos that are release is up to the artist. people don't just decide if a single is a hit or not. the band or artist picks which song or video goes next.

we're talking about lb (limpbizkit) not lp(linkin park). Linkin park is the highest selling rock band this year. linkin park is the most popular rock band today. not even limpbizkit, metallica or anyone is better than linkin park at the moment. if linkin park stays a band for a while, then they will be the highest selling rock band of all time in a short period of time.

dude thats a greatest hits cd. and it's had a very long time to sell. the beatles are classics. if linkin park is around longer than the beatles then i can guarantee that they will way more albums than the beatles.

linkin park sold over 8 million with just hybrid theory. 1 album just in 2001. becoming the highest selling band in 2001. i dont even know how much meteora has sold and i bet it's more than 8 million.

The thing is you shouldn't care what other people think...

Music is about individual expression...you should love the music you love and not try and influence other people on the style you love...

I posts threads on bands i like to get them noticed...not because i want to influence them upon everyone here...Take my thread on me first and the gimme gimmes...hardly anyone had heard of them...now they are the most popular download off me...

The thing is i really like linkin park, adema, staind, cold and all the new bands like that, yet im also heavily into 70's punk and 80's rock...and im also heavily into Aussie Rock...aswell as everything in between...shit i don't even mind pop music sometimes...

Yet i know no one will have the same tastes as me...but i don't care...because this is the music i love and i couldn't care if say...no one in the world besides me liked the band Cold...i can relate to their music so much and i would listen to them like a religion...

So for everyone who has decided to take a shot at limpbizkit...i have seen all your guys folders...and none of you guys are straight out metal...because you have all downloaded pop/rock/nu-metal/punk off me...

Just remember do what you wanna do when the fuck you wanna do it...

Love your music and the world will be a better place...
