I cannot imagine going back to dial up. Broadband cuts the waiting time, no phone line, always on and ready.

You will feel like you have a whole new toy. BTW....you know the difference between men and boys, 3Gen, don't you? The price of their toys.

according to du meter, i've downloaded over 15MB in the last 35 mins and i've not even been downloading anything much...i'm beginning to like this broadband malarkey...

You can get unlimited 512/128k in Australia for about $80 - $90

ok thanks for that problem is my phoneline is on a RIM which means telstra bacially say fuck you unles you get ripp off bigpond lol but they told me 2005 at least

i'm currently dling at 493kbps

i know that my connection is 'only' 512k compared to some of the other members much faster connections, however, when you've been on 56k so long, it feels fantastic

p.s. should i tweak my mtu and settings, or should i leave them alone for now?
