I know a very small amount of python, I'm trying to learn c++, and I'm taking a Java class next semester. I keep thinking about making a game.
The kind of games I like are older, more complex role playing games like baudur's gate or puzzle games. It seems it might be possible to make something eventually even if the graphics were all still pictures like in Myst or in point and click adventures. IMO the older games have a lot that the new games are missing anyway.
My problem is I don't know if anyone would want to play something like that. Would that be interesting if it was free?
