    I have the win box.

I use to have a hosting-ie box and ran filezilla on it for my ftp.. and it worked fine.

I got rid of that and recently got a kimsufi box but cant' get the ftp to work with it.. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.. restarting. but can't get it to connect.

is there something different with kimsufi boxes preventing me to connect?

Sorry if I steal your topic for a second, but is there anyone who can tell me how I enable SSL in Filezilla? So I can connect to a server which demands that I use SSL.

why port 22? I tried both 21 and 22.. neither will work.. here's what I get in the ftp log:

    port 21:

    Connecting to 94.x.x.x:21
Connected to 94.x.x.x:21 in 0.000000 seconds, Waiting for Server Response
    Error reading response from server.
    Connection closed by remote host.
    Host type (1): Automatic detect

    port 22:

    Connecting to 94.x.x.x:22
Connected to 94.x.x.x:22 in 0.171875 seconds, Waiting for Server Response
    SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_4.6
    Error reading response from server.
    Connection closed by remote host.
    Host type (1): Automatic detect
Reconnect failed. The connection is dead.
I'm using ws_ftp pro for my ftp client.. and filezilla as the server. I've setup filezilla before on a hosting-ie seedbox.. i'm 99% i'm setting it up right, I just can't get connected from my computer to the ftp. the service is running and it says the server is online.

also i noticed even if i disconnect filezilla and close it out.. I get the same error response in my ftp.

    that worked actually..

I guess it's using an ftp built into the win server? is there anyway to edit any of the settings on the server.. make it go to a default folder when it logs in?

I tried the same settings on ws_ftp and got an error (it's my default ftp I use it for my website hosting as well so i'd prefer to use it instead of filezilla)
