What is AFR ?

As the topic say's what does AFR mean in relation to video files. One site I'm on has Movies\xvid, Movies\x264, Movies\AFR. I presume it's a format is it 720p rips ?

Would be greatfuly if anyone has a link or two so I can do some reading. I've tried a quick search on google and it basically comes back with a lot of shit lol there must be a movie called AFR too.

Advanced Filesize Regulation.

dvd-r sized files.

movies are ripped into a single file that fits on a 1/6, 1/3, 1/2, 1/4 or 1/5 dvd-r.

baiscally it breaks with the old scene rule that movies have to be splitted to fit on one or several cd-r.

movie sizes to burn on data dvd-r - that's it.
