UK ISPs to Become Piracy Cops
    January 16, 2009

" UK communications minister Lord Carter has drafted new regulations that
will require ISPs to warn customers suspected of sharing copyrighted
material, that they are acting illegally. Furthermore, ISPs will have
to hand over details of repeated infringers to the entertainment
industry and other rights holders. "

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. ISPs will keep an eye out for illegal activity......but I doubt there will be an big increase of people being caught...if there even is an increase. It's all about the money, and always will be.

The U.K. is the closest country the Western world has to a police state. The United States doesn't approach the severity of the civil liberty violations the U.K. has enforced in the name of public security.

    Read this this and this.
