You need PC2100....it must be the same speed as the otherone also...so i would call your vendor and find out what kind you already have....www.tigerdirect.com has the best deals on memory...good luck

Can you open your case and look inside? Look at the modules you have and get back to us when you have some info as to what is written on the stickers.

Anyway...

PC2100 = DDR266
PC2700 = DDR333
PC3200 = DDR400

You don't want PC100 or PC133. It won't work with your system.

You most likely need PC2100 but check with what you already have first.

For DDRxxx, the xxx is the data rate in MHz, which is double the frequency. So DDR266 runs at a clock speed of 133.

The PCxxxx rating is the maximum data transfer speed in MB/sec rounded to the nearest 100. You can calculate the PC rating by multiplying the DDR rating by 8.

Edit: Just to confuse things, the above is only true for DDR memory. For the older SDR memory, the PCxxx rating was the frequency in MHz, so the equivalent rating of PC133 in the new way of calculating it would be PC1050

There is no difference.

For example PC2100 is the same thing as DDR266.

I guess I was not clear with what I meant by "=".

for the easiest, go to crucial.com, enter your PC/motherboard type and it'll tell you what type you can use.
You may already have like 2100, but your mobo might accept 2700 or something...

I dunno... you go and make a nice shiny updated RAM guide and people just ignore it

I think some people need more attention...than others...its either that or that some are born with less upstairs...
