dbpoweramp does convert mp3 to wma and is one of the best, easiest, free convertors...

No one uses windows media encoder ? It doesn't get much more free than that.

actualy a wma song encoded at 64 sounds pretty good on my mp3 player i hardly notice it only cost me £100 from dixons
