PTN Account Disabled

Got home from work yesterday to find my PTN account disabled, disappointing to say the least

I don't cheat, trade, giveaway in public or get upto any other tard like behavior that breaks the tracker rules so I'm slightly confused as to whats went wrong and I've only sent one invite to an E-Friend since I joined the site back when it opened it's doors.

The way I see it there is two possible scenarios:

Disabled for inactivity - possibly as I don't download much from there these days but I have and still am seeding 20 files.

Someone in the invite tree has screwed up and got everyone thrown out but as far as I'm aware there's only 3 of us and that was only the person who invited me, myself and the one person I invited.

If there's any staff hovering about it would be appreciated if they could tell me who has f*cked up and what they have done so I can give them a virtual slap.

obviously if the person who I invited has caused this I do not expect my account to be re-enabled.

And you couldn't have asked this in the irc.support channel?? You would have a better chance of getting re-enabled that way. Trust me...The PTN staff is probably the most fair staff along with TTi, but I doubt they like to slove problems in FST just because you were lazy to find out the support channel.

searched for ages for the support channel in google and have been sittin in #ptn like a dumbass with no response.

@ Cabalo lol yeah prepared for the onslaught but I know for a fact that i've not done anything wrong directly so it's all cool, I'm just here for the banter and that anyway so it's not as if I've got a rep to protect for invite fishing further down the line

Hmmmm possibly but I know the person through the Internet Chess Club so it's unlikely.

They signed up straight away but never downloaded anything on the account for the first 5 days so I sent them a reminder to start using it otherwise he'd probably lose it anyway he responded next day and normal activity on his account started. Kept checking it over the following week and never noticed anything untoward

I'm curious to see what happened though...probably it was just a mistake. Maybe they thought you were someone else. It happens.
