We only have two choices for ISP's here and this one is the fastest.I was with the other one a couple of years ago and it was fine until I tried this one,I will never go back to the other.

sry m8 i dont believe you on this one. that is some awsome tweaking if it was possible to fool ur isp into giving you that much bandwidth and if that was true you would have greater than a 2mb adsl connection and the only UK company that does that is bulldog ADSL the company i am with and then you have to be within 6 miles or the base station indside central london.Originally posted by Amarjit@14 September 2003 - 17:36

adsl isnt like cable, the signal degrades a lot quicker than that of cable so you have to be closer to the base station/exchange to get the speeds your qouting

i live in chicago, so i'm not sure about european stuff. but i have just basic cable, and my surf speed is 2.4 megabytes / sec. my dl speed is around 400 kb/s highest
