    98 is not very safe.. dont use it for your banking matters or buisness.
    Microsoft doesnt fix the newly discovered holes in 98.. and alot of people still use it.

    yes, i wouldnt use it personally ever.. but it looks like this fellow might have to

    For windows 98

    486DX4-100MHz or higher RAM 32 MB

    for windows 2000

    Pentium II 300 or higher and at least 128 MB of RAM

    Go with 98

    ive actually heard of someone running xp with 64mb of ram. go figure.
