the difference between this complicated procedure and the 3 click dbpoweramp procedure in the quality of the final files is so low as to be negligible in the real world...

ok, tried the DCPOWERAMP, but LT's link to pauls post bout the EAC has got me thinkin i can do better, one question though , wich version? (he's got a few on the EAC site)
I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.
thanks sparse

It's not complicated at all. Sure, it takes twenty minutes to first set up, and the copying and ripping process takes slightly longer, but when i hear the quality of most mp3's on Fast Track i wish everyone was using it. Once it is set up it's exactly the same as any other ripper, but better.Originally posted by 3rd gen noob@19 September 2003 - 00:51

Like Sparsely i have been using version 0.95 with no problems.
the way i see it, there's no point using such a "round the way" procedure for no improved result

If you're listening to your mp3's on your pc's speakers you probably won't hear any difference. Burn them to cd and listen to them with good hifi equipment, and you will notice a difference. There is no difference, between mp3's ripped using eac and lame, from the original cd.Originally posted by 3rd gen noob@ 19 September 2003 - 01:25
