I have a garage, but no car.
My friends awesome car is therefore parked in it in order to hibernate through the winter.
It is a convertible MG. It is slik. The garage is not slik, it leans to the left.

His awesome car prevents me from filling the garage with crap

The one that ran me over didn't - in fact it put me out of sorts for a week or two.

    It certainly does not.

They yell, and they honk their horns incessantly.

At times one is forced to resort to giving them the finger, or shouting insults at them, to keep things on an even keel.

At least I'm not polluting the environment...

Ah, not to mention, much like Les, that my ankle suffered harshly due to their extravagant high-speed pursuits. The animal didn't even leave the vehicle to help.

Bastards, the lot of them - the cars and their drivers.

For me, i do not have car.
But with it i would zip to the most awesome places in a second
    instead of bloody public transport
    beach
    bus - 1hr
    car 20min
    skiing
    bus - 1hr
    car 20min
    shop
    walk - 5 min
    car - 15 min
    swimming pool
    car - 10min
    bus - 1hr

    cost?

I lack it because others have it to compare to.

Public transport is a vexation at times I agree. Yesterday my train was an hour late. I would use my car to commute but rush hour traffic in Glasgow is not good for the soul. At least I can read books on the train.

My contretemps with a car was somewhat alleviated by the concerned driver who turned out to be German and said "Mein Gott I thought I had killed you". (I fancied he had too as I sailed through the air) I thought Germans only spoke like that in Commando comics. It cheered me up no end - although I was a tad uncomfortable with the bruising and all.

    That never occurred to me

Edit: Blimey it is a long time since I saw you on here. I thought you had succumbed to Newkie Brown disease or something.

i can't live without my car. Working at night (where public transportation is non-existent) and the shittiest public transports network, make it something i can't live without.
