OK, an historic one for you.
During the reign of Queen Mary, (Bloody Mary), Sir Thomas Wyatt started a rebellion to try to prevent Mary from marrying King Philip of Spain. On his way to London, he was prevented from crossing a certain bridge on the Thames, when the citizens of the town destroyed it to stop him advancing. For this, the town was awarded "Royal Borough" status by a grateful Mary.
Find me a pic of a watercolour of the present day bridge.

The best I could draw given the time constrainsts. I heard that Wyatt was repelled here (London bridge) and had to cross Kingston bridge. I cannot draw that bridge, too intricate.

Oh, Hobbes! So near and yet so far ... it was the other way round, Kingston Bridge was destroyed. Hence, The Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames.
