Wow, Limewire used to be the only place I'd go for music. It was only after a few months that I realized how much b/w it took. Tried frostwire, and it might be a little better, but not by much. If I really need a song or two, I'll download LW or FW, but instantly get rid of it when it's done downloading! Can't really do much while either of them are running!

limewire works fine for the occasional song download if you know what your doing
i dont use anymore cuz i only get full albums off usenet and such but last time i used it worked fine

I think frostwire is indeed much better than limewire (Having used both). No spyware and the content seems to be different.
