Yes, Not only for not 'filtering' the 'watermark' but for not waiting for at least the DVD release :p.

I was quiet pleased with PreVail's CAM's hopefully they all didnt rely on this one Aussie.

Noob? . Well this is very sad news, the MPAA goes through all these resources and money on encrypting DVD's, searching for release group leaders etc and complain that developers/artist/directors etc dont make profit?

    Greedy?
It looks like they'll need to spend even more money. The majority doesn't get caught. I don't think any amount of money will prevent the releases from getting out.

Nope, outside of a police state, they are pretty much doomed.

Yes, it says in the article:

It's a surprising arrest in any event - typically release groups and cammers go out of their way to eliminate any watermarking evidence. But this one slipped through the cracks.

So, in other words, it was one of these 3: forgot/lazy/mistake.
Bummer for sure, a shame it had to do with one of those 3 quoted above. Not a big cam guy, more patient and willing to wait for other releases. But a great service they certainly offer, unfortunate to have 1 soldier less.

    Best of luck,
