Yeah, I rarely watch shows on my tv. Basically, the only thing I watch on broadcasted tv is sports. Everything else I watch is downloaded. It's probably a bad thing that I don't ever tune into my favortie because theres more than a few of them that I watch that have crappy ratings. Oh well.
See ya in another life, brother.

I just had a look on the internet.

It seems like they're still there. Look, I pointed at them with an arrow.

Maybe this was a film you watched

Of course it's photoshopped. I told you I added the arrow

Don't try and hide the fact that you are confusing Hollywood with real life...

Well, I've been moved for 2 months now and don't even really miss my TV or feel the strong desire for another.

I get all my shows from Usenet now and watch them on the PC shortly after they air; nothing new there.

I'm finding myself going out more and doing things that I might not normally. Does anyone here live TV free or gone any long duration without? Did you end up getting one?

I'm considering holding out until football season starts in the Fall.
I went for months after moving into my own place without a telly, and I didn't miss it. But in the last week I've seen some documentaries on religion, science, society and the like, and they've given me some interesting topics of discussion with other people and opened my eyes to some things. So, as with everything: all in moderation.
I usually circle what I want to see that night when I get home from work then turn the TV off in between programmes and listen to music. That way it's not on all the time and I'm not having soaps or unfunny sitcoms seeping unbidden into my brain to rot my neural pathways.

I have both a TV and a projector, but then only watch the documentary channels ( and the kids have their programming). The most handy button is the off button though. The difference I choose the programming I watch rather than let the shlock wash over me, and of course the projector is for my movies..........
