    I used to have FAT32 installed on Windows 98, and I found it to be very un-stable, I&#39;m not running NTFS with Windows XP (legitimate) and it runs perfectly.

    NTFS for sure. More efficient, more secure, less prone to losing data.

    I upgraded from Win98 to XP, then used Partition Magic to convert from FAT32 and I haven&#39;t had any problems at all. Now I can hide files and folders from other users. B)
