Help Please

hello, recently got broadband and klite set up - its great ive been downloading films etc. Just wondering if anyone knows of any other p2p networks or websites that are the same or better for more specific stuff like films, music etc I know of WinMX(which i think is crap) and soulseek. Thanks alot for any help.

ive now installed bittorent, ive gone to a site (supermova.org) and clicked on a film to download. its then gone to a normal windows download window and says its getting file information (still is and has been for about 10 mins now), not downloading yet. Is this normal? is the software actually working? any help greatly appreciated thanks.

sounds like you've got a broken link there, or there are server problems at their end

the aim is to download a .torrent file, once you have this, use the bitt client you have to download the film
currently, you're not downloading the film
try another link...

still going pretty well

currently dling Le Mans (1971) and 50 cent - the new breed from emule

VERY slow though, less than 10kB/sec constantly, even when i'm uploading at 20kB/sec...

Yeah, a funny thing happens with uploads and adsl, eh? It seems that p2p apps are not too efficient. Within a few years we will have much more powerful bandwidth...

yeah, hopefully a large part of the civilised world will have t3 (or higher) within the not too distant future...

it's great using the uni t3, there are quite simply no wait times, even with 100+ others using the same line...
