    Most of what I'm shairing on my comp are things that are not available in the US and anime music videos, cause they are supposed to be shared. That and Japan has a more lineant copywrite policy.

    Having a firewall is much better than NOT having a firewall, and having some really simple firewall can stop about 80% of the RIAA attacks and Sygate blocks 99% of RIAA attacks.

    Well, for this purpose a fw only blocks the IP's you supply it...
    On its own it will not stop them at all...

    However a garden hose will work much better...
