It is simply a television program in the UK.
A few days ago someone, Stephen Fry actually, told the story of the old lady speaking (to a scientist as I recall) of the earth being on the back of a turtle on the back of a turtle etc... and before you (the scientist) ask what the next one is standing on, it's turtles all the way down.
I merely toook it as a staggering coincidence, when you quoted it from another thread and I had heard something remarkably similar a few days ago.
Sorry, unless you have access to UK TV the comment would have meant nothing to you.
