I did some research and found that in July 2003 a law was passed which created a cyber crime dvision of the FBI which monitors P2P sharing and is required to give a warning to anyone violating Copyright laws before legal action is made against them.

Can anyone confirm or deny any of this?

if i shit my panty everytime I see a threat IM message like that, I'd have spent all my income on underwares and still not enough to cover my shit

and your research, it said that there suppose to give a warning, what they sent you isnt a warning to me, unless they warned you before.

If u find a hash u can go to the "Web" page in the kazaa-lite program then go to the verified downloads if that fails then u can always use Bittorrent and not get a virus.

EDIT: I messed up and put Norton Antivirus instead of Bittorrent Oops.

If the feds were really on to you do you honestly think they would tell you first? It's like saying to a bunch of crim's: "sorry boys we know you're dealing in illegal stuff and tomorrow we're going to bust you so please get rid of all this stuff before we do!" The first thing you'd know about it is when they come to kick your door down at dawn!

In anycase unless you're up to anything thats an offence under criminal law (file swapping of music, software etc is a civil offence) they're just not interested.

(And no I never did hear anything about it again.)
