    www.dbpoweramp.com

    convert to a lower bitrate (e.g. 192k to 128k)
    <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>BLAH</span>

    <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>Wayne Rooney - A thug and a thief</span>

not to the same effect, no

compressing with winrar will take off such a small amount as to be negligible in the real world

Aren&#39;t mp3 files small enough? Hell, you can stick a bunch of &#39;em right in your pockets.

If u really want to compress em then just make them into .ogg files it will compress a 100mb cd into 30-40 mb
