Nah they'll never stop us.
I am not scared.
Lets just take a step back and see what exactly happened, this is only my POV, but this is the way I see it.
They took TPB to trial.
They already had letters drafted up to send to other trackers in Sweden, should they have won.
Once they won, and while the news was still hot on the press, they proceeded to send those letters out, just to see what would happen.
Low and behold, the tracker owners shit themselves (which i do not blame them one bit tbh), and a mass closure occured.
They are very pleased with what happened, as the threat letters worked a treat.
Not sure what would have happened, if those trackers gave them the finger, but we will never know now.
TPB is still working, the owners are not in prison, maybe a retrial, and if not, at least an appeal to a higher court.
Leecherslair was just co-incedence, Last year, Brokenstones, FTN and numerous others got kicked out of malaysia, so it was only a matter of time really till they kicked another out, it just happened to be when all the crap was going down.
atm its all up in the air, not a lot has actually happened, apart from they chanced their luck, and got very lucky with closing a number of trackers down, but plenty still remain, and new ones will take their place.
so lets just wait and see, but its not the end yet, and i personally dont think it will be the end for a long time to come.

I agree with you stoi, some years ago when they closed some other trackers lots of site owners got scared and closed down.
Thatīs what they want, to creat fear whithout moving a finger.
SuprNova was huge in its day, as was Loki, ET, BT and many others. Trackers close and more open up.
People say that they are scared because four got charged, but quite a few got charged over ET, yet this didn't stop thousands from sharing, even though several got sentenced.
If any punishment was any sort of deterrent, then the first punishment would stop further occurances, but even though the US still has the death penalty in many states, it doesn't stop murder.
If you want to stop piracy, you'd have to wipe out mankind, because copying others is what we do, and how each generation improves upon the last. Put simply, like every other animal on this earth, we mimic each other. You cannot stop evolution.
Trust me BT will never/can't get shutdown. How else are Linux distros meant to share releases?
Also I doubt IF and I mean ''if' hypothetically that they'll go to other forms of p2p![]()
