You should read the site below, it has info on pipelining. a) Setting it to 30 makes no sense because the max firefox can do is 8. b) nglayout.initialpaint.delay doesn't help you download pages faster.
Read http://egonitron.com/2007/05/25/the-...elining-trick/ before you enable pipelining. Though the site says to put 8, that is probably overkill. Remember you are just downloading web pages and not big files. 3 Would probably be a more sensible choice.
Also addons such as FasterFox should be banned, all they do is waste bandwidth. Think about it, if all people used FasterFox then many sites we have today would probably not exist due to being unable to cope with the high bandwidth.

try different Browser is a good idea in fact.
u guys need to work on your math 2-30 = -28 times faster. and dont try to catch me in it says faster b/c if it said -28 times slower then you would have a double negative...sort of haha j/k
