I have been a member of FTN for a few years now and when i went to login today i get password mismatch,I have used the same pass since i opened my account so i have no idea whats happened.I know they have irc but i don't know how to use irc or get in contact with them to sort this out.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What for? He says he doesn't know how to use IRC, thus, the direct link.you could give him the server adress while you are at it...
If he felt he needed it, it's in the link and also appears on the IRC page after clicking it.

I just got the message as well. It means you need to reset your password. Hit the recovery password link on the login page and reset your password.
