I want to get the correct version of uTorrent.
I think I used to always download version 1.6 "because it is the version created before that guy that works for the RIAA or MPAA took over the project"
I always heard that rumor.
What version should I get?

Just get the newest version. No one from the "RIAA or MPAA" has taken it over.

Yeah, its safe to use the latest version. And you'd better use the latest version because some sites do not allow certain backdated versions of utorrent!

Well, until we start to hear about people being busted for using the latest version, most will say it's safe to use. Most trackers tend to prefer that you use the newest stable version anyway.
