Ok, I'm not a comic book reader, so... could someone fill me in on why (in the comics) Batman and Superman duked it out, and how Batman won (now, I'm thinking because of that Kryptonite ring, maybe?).

i agree with the last post. superman does have the preservation of life as a huge weakness in him. batman would do whatever to win.
