My parents had to put down one of their two. She was 20 years 2 months old. Fucking great cat she was. My Mom said my Dad even cried. I've seen him cry once, in 1986, when his parents passed.

Sometimes I wonder why we have pets, knowing we'll see them pass.

Awww that's a shame benchie mate. It's always hard when pets pass away. They are such nice companions and I think we often share more of life with them than we realise.
