Snny, just the man.
Meant to relay my thanks for that link wot you gave me for the comics but it turns out I'm a lazy cunt and didn't.
Out fucking standing, like.
It's pretty grate. Just gotta remember to sign in now and then so the account doesn't expire.
I found it just as zcult shut down, was looking for Red Sonja-comics.

Yep. Got me all of The Boys and Crossed.
Pretty decent but I've got this love/hate thing going with Garth Ennis. He's from my home town and I read whatever he writes in my/his accent. Which kinda destroys it, to be honest.
He's going all out over the fucking top these days for the gore and sex shock value and it's getting annoying.
He's the fucking Ewe Boll of comics.
Thor: Vikings was one of his. I found it kind of good.
Same goes for Preacher, although I kind of stopped reading it, in favour of other stuff, back before the days of getting comics off the internets.
Keeps an interesting tone to the stuff he does.
Uwe Boll lacks any sense of timing, btw, and can't tell a story at all.
Harsh comparison, if you ask me.
Excessive violence, Ennis's nastiness and whatnot is more Tarantino.
Z-Cult was win. A shame it's gawn. I've resorted to a semi-public Spanish comic tracker. I forget the name.
He wishes he could even approach Tarantino, mate.
All subtlety is sacrificed for cheap gut-spill and nausea factor. The Boys is just a relentless cringe.
I other, better news...I also got me mitts on a superior scan of Jose Villaruba's re-take of Alan Moore's The Mirror Of Love from AARGH! back in the late 80's. You know the one. It's that big prose poem about the history of the gays written in protest against the ill-fated 'Clause 28' bill which set out to eradicate all traces of same-sex fumbling about- even as much to attempt to strike the very idea from the dictionary, like.
I'll send you the linkage or something else.
Kaskus is heading for the same, I reckon![]()
