Does anyone know anything about inline skates??? I've chatting to this girl who does a bit of skating down the sea front (as most do down here) and i told her I also do that and now she's called me up on it and wants to go together one evening next week so i need to buy some skates fast! But i don't want to buy a shit pair that are gonna fall apart, what makes a good pair of inline skates?

I would suggest a couple of hours practising too - otherwise she might suspect you were telling porkies. It might make the skates look a bit less suspiciously new.

Just a thought like....not that I would practice such deceit strategies.

Roight, during my 11 HOUR SHIFT today i went into town and bought some inlines, they were meant to be around sixty quid but they had them for half price and i think they look the part? they've got soft wheels which the 10 year old that served me said was great and will last?? But as Les said, I need to break them in and make them looked loved so after gym tonight im gonna get an hours practice in - the dates tomorrow so no real time other than tonight, could maybe skate to and from work tomorrow... then after skating its off for a drink then back to mine where i'll try it on

I can't believe you just spent 30 quid on a pair of skates you will probably only use once, just to get a hole. Would it not have been cheaper calling a hooker?
