I just downloaded homeworld 2 for pc and in the file i got a .bin file which is 700 megs and a .cue file which is 1kb. Do I burn this onto a cd or something?

Yes. Just use Nero go to burn image under file (Nero 5.x) or Recoder (Nero 6) then select the .cue file and clik burn or ok.

if u dont wanan burn just mount the cd with virtual cd-driver using DAEMON TOOLS

look in software world to find out detailed instructions on how to burn cue and bins on a disk

I suggest using Alcohol 120%. then go here Game Protection List find the protection your game is using and set that protection in Alcohol.
You dont want to just burn a general image file
