Windows Start-up

I get a bunch of screen thingies when i start up my computer. There's the Gateway screen that came already installed when i got it. There's the GoBack screen which asks me if i want to rewind my hard drive to a past time. (or something like that) and then theres a screen that asks me in what mode i want to use my puter. And then it reappears , and ummm well i just wanna know how the hell do i stop the gateway screen from appearing , and....how do i get it to start always in "Normal" mode? the goback screen i "need" but the others nope!

Or go into the services menu in administrative tools and disable or prevent the program/programs from starting up.
