mine is probably FSC, exactly for what idoleyes said. They're trying to accomplish, step by step, something radically better than what the BT world offers us.
Community tracker? there's the one, and it's them.
and then it's TheVault. It has by far some of the most unique contents around, and the people there really value their little place, they are truly friends. they even make public announcements for meetings with dinner etc. Love it or leave it.

Three places stand out imo: UG, Pedro's, PTN and BCG. I haven't found a general tracker that I would ''love'' yet.
UG and Pedro's for the reaons stated already (allthough I'd like to add that I really like Pedro's'sratio rules). PTN is no ratio and that's a plus for me and it has a really nice feel to it, plus the content is more than enough for me (I'm not the cinephilia kind of movie freak, not yet at least).
BCG for it great games (especially PS2) library and it's unique SP system.
There might be other, better ones out there, but I'm not that far yet (I'm still kinda new to BT, been in the game for only a little over 2 years).
I'm back. The downside is that I'm also old now.

you may definitely give a try to TC (Tehconnection); this tracker keep growing day by day since it switched to gazelle (~8000 torrents) and it has very useful (and unique) features.
