You can do either one,i got the update from microsoft then used the public server patch aftyer.

How far have u all got on this game? I'm on the Libary level where some flying dude shows u the way to the index or somthing..

i was stuck there for a while.. there is a dorr neaby you have to go through..left of the light bridge

Thats where i am. I haven't played the standalone game in awhile, since I started playing multiplayer.

Maybe I should get back to my game.
