It just opens the Microsoft DirectX web page. Everything is fully updated on my PC and I definetly don't have any PC related probs though. I was looking forward to this game Might have to wait until it's officially released and a patch comes out to play it.

You do have DirectX 9.0b installed don't you McNutter? If not then i'd install it if I were you and try again :-)

You've got better spec's than I Monkeee but it play's pretty smooth for me, try making sure the refresh rate is set to as high as your monitor can handle as that might help, and if not then try reducing the resolution to 800x600 (or lower if that's what your already set at) :-)

well, i got it, now just one quickie:

In the NFO file it says to extract and burn the cue but how do I extract it to burn it or mount it on alcohol 120%?

it is a bunch of Halo_Combat_Evolved-FLT_flt-halo.001 through .0048 and a Halo_Combat_Evolved-FLT_flt-halo.sfv file. thanks for any help.

then after you install winrar
open the first file and it will give you the bin/cue
as far a mounting it on 120%

Yep got DirectX 9.0b. Installed the standard 3.7 drivers but still no joy. Halo appears to be a typical Micro&#036;haft product - crap.

well i did succesfully play online for a half hour or so it was a server that didnt recquire cd authentication. but it disappeared soon, so can u join any server or what lord soth? what did you do? would be nice to play some more.
