The problem with Geforce FX cards and Halo is the pixelshader. GFX cards are set to use PS2.0. And as we all know from the HL2 bench, GFX sucks at ps2.0(at least till the new drivers) What you do is go to the properties of the desktop icon and in the target box add -use14 to the end. THis should set Halo to run in PS1.4 which should solve all the probs for the geforce FX's. There is also another way to do this in the actual file, if the command line edit dosnt work. not sure of the details though.![]()
