hey, i started dling the torrent file and its running at less than 1k/sec.
i have a LAN and am connecting through a router- i have cabel for dling and 56k for uploading
would the LAN affect my speed in any way, if so how can i fix it?

Patch 1.01 for Halo has been released. Get it Here. After applying the patch the game won't work without another crack though.

Ok, I finished d/ling off bittorent, but when I mount the cue and enter the CD key it comes up with a MGS17.exe error

"This application has failed to start because MFC42.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"

And then a message from halo setup saying

"cannot load PidGen.dll"

I explored inside the virtual cd and PidGen.dll is there, do i have a dodgy or corrupt version?

Or is there a crack i should know about?

An help would be appreciated quickly please, as i need to know if I have to D/l a diff version

EDIT: And im mounting it with daemon tools if thats any help

DAMN! After installing the M$ patch, it even asks for NOCD now. Can't play online and can't play standalone until the release a nocd for Halo version 1.01! GRRRRRRRRRR!

and repair it
I think you click uninstall and it gives you the option
don't keep any older files
thats how i got it to work after the "upgread"

You can use the no cd from gamecopyworld,i was in the same boat as you and it worked fine for me.

Yeeeeeup, it worked.

Now if I could only play online again.
