A man breaks into my house and steals my wife's ring .He then comes back the next day and knocks on the door asking very nicely if I would mind giving him the matching earrings .
What do you think I should do?


That's not to say that people don't have the capacity to change but I don't think that you can reasonably expect to play both sides in this circumstance.
