I need a new sound card.

I need to be able to record good quality sound and my soundcard seems to be crap.

Can anyone give me some advice of a good quality sound card that won't cost me masses of cash??

    Thanks in advance

get one of the sound blaster audigy range, my set up is great 5 speakers with dolby digital 5.1 and a sub, with a nice card to match, i just got the standard card, but now you can get 5300 speakers (or better if your fanatical lol) with a sound blaster card and drive bay mounting control pannel, remote control ensemble, so you can stick an album in, go lie down grab a book, and use the remote as opposed to all the leg work
