Sure it didn't max out my connection, but the donwload speed was 90-100 KB/s. That's not bad for a no ratio tracker imo.

Are you joking, or are you serious? Because seriously, that can't be right. I am not on GFT, but 90-100KB/s really is slow, no matter if it is a ratio or non-ratio site. On the earlier mentioned, "less exclusive" non-ratio tracker PreToMe, I can easily max out my home line, which tops at 4MB/s, on most torrents.

I am serious. I don't need stuff downloaded in mins, it can be hours as long as it's in the same day. If it's speed that you want, stay away from no ratio sites (except FTN from what I've heard). Go for ScT or SCC instead.

They're not the norm, I was talking about an older torrent. As I said I don't download the torrent right when it's uploaded.

tbh, pre times mean little to me. no ratio means a lot. A bonus system? Even more.

It all depends on the kind of content you usually download also. 90-100kb/s isn't really enjoyable if you download 15GB HD movies, but for music and other less demanding stuff, it's ok.

here comes the same old ftn and gft side by side views.
the fact that both are ratio free is the only common thing amongst them.
everything else, that many people value so much, is way different. especially speeds. and everything else. period.

oh, and GFt has better pretimes, woohooo
