No one probably cares and here's a link if you are seriously interested http://www.systemics.com/docs/ricardo/principles.html but all these wars over oil (or that could be argued are over oil) really are pointless and this was proved years ago by David Ricardo who notably came under so much criticism he even doubted his own work.

Comparitive advantage (the subject matter of beautiful mind and the brian child of Ricardo) would dictate that it is not a matter of seizing there oil it is a matter of internally restructuring ones country to allow exports of a commidity it is at the greatest advantage of producing to allow an equality of trade between, lets say oil rich countries.

My point is economics is never a reason for war, yet I feel it probably has fuelled as many wars as religion and politics and i'm trying to highlight the narrow mindness of many of our governments in the west (if anyone is interested, lol)
