I have been using outlook (not express) for my pop3 mail client and it is really more than I need. I have downloaded and installed the bat, but there seems to be a lack of good plug-ins (at least from searching their forums).
All I need is the ability to attach files; anti-spam filters and anti-virus filters also would be nice.
I am running Symantec Corp 8.1 at the moment.

Any advice with extra information would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Eudora's the best and norton corp scan the e-mails. Hotpop.com it a free pop3 account with very good spam filter.

Eudora or TheBat! I use Eudora cause it was easy to setup & integrates in Opera & IE. Don't have the energy to try TB though.

    Thanks for the info
The bat is history....Eudora is exactly what I am looking for.
Its ease of use and no worries about upgrading and training plug-ins.

Of course I am using the paid mode

    Thanks Again,
    Steve

If you were using "Outlook" and thought it abit much, then would not just downgrading slightly to "Outlook Express" suit you just as well?

Symantec programs integrate just as easily into it as well. I wouldn't know myself. I use Outlook and NAV2003 Pro. Never had any complaints about either.

It has to be OE that I am thinking of then, because I know that I have seen that damn envelope scanner icon in one of them.

Even so, what am I to make of this?

    NAV Pro help page

Norton AV does integrate into Outlook.
