Do you have a Windows XP CD?

Just boot with that. It's all you need.

It sucks. I've played with it and put it away. Unless you have a laptop, there's no need for it. The media center edition is unsupported now anyway and the so called corp version won't stay authorised.

Where did you hear this, balamm?

It's been 'authorized' for almost 2 years now.

By the way... That CD key is no good. Don't use it.

You talking about the 5 in 1? Cause no mater how many times I installed it ( with the corp key) or patched it or licenced it, It always gave me the "you have 30 days" message after a reboot. I used valid keys and everthing else I could come up with and No Go!

The pro version misbehaved similarly. The media version isn't supported, most of the URLs are dead and the stuff that makes it a media edition is either nonfuntional or buggy.

My own unbutchered disk does just what it's supposed to. No winbeta crap or added MS bullshit checking on me.

@balamm, I cannot see how your last post answers my question. Could you clarify please?
